Purl2 Top-Down Ribbed Sock Class

Instructor Cornie Talley will guide you through the process of making a pair of top down ribbed socks over the course of three Tuesday evenings in September. Students should already be proficient in casting-on, and performing knit and purl stitches.

Class Dates: Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30pm September 13, 20 and 27 at Purl2.

Class 1: Getting Started

Class 2: Creating the heel

Class 3: Completing the toe to finish your first sock!

Supplies (Receive a 10% discount when you purchase your supplies from Purl2):

Basic Ribbed Socks by Kate Atherley (Download from ravelry here); either print your pattern or have it on your electronic device when you arrive for the first class.

US 1.5 needles (2.5mm) in any form you feel comfortable; large circular for magic loop, 9" circular needle, DPN's or flexi-flips

100g of Fingering weight sock yarn, look for a yarn that has some nylon content for extra durability (Purls Before Wine Robusta or The Farmer's Daughter Rocky Mountain Purls would be a great choice!)
