Local Farm Yarn

Old Homestead Alpaca's 2-ply fingering weight yarn is 100% suri alpaca. From the undyed browns and marls to the colorful skeins of creamy base yarn that have been dyed by Elaine with flowers from her farm, you'll find a special skein you just have to take home. This yarn softens even more once your finished project is washed and blocked. Due to the nature of hand-dyed/naturally-dyed yarn, we will do our best to visually match when you purchase multiple skeins, but please allow for nuance.

Each skein is 200 yards of 100% suri alpaca yarn, and Old Homestead is a participant in the Suri Seed Stock program. In several cases, the name of the animal from whose fleece the yarn came is written on the tag.

Thank you for supporting this local yarn that is the product of a hard-working veteran-owned alpaca farm in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley.
