Join instructor Tamara Holloway as she guides you through the basics of sock knitting. The short cuff on these socks means that you get from cast on to turning your heel in no time! Over the course of four classes you will learn how to knit this simple pair of shorty socks, with a rolled cuff that are just begging to be knit up in wild and colorful sock yarn.
In addition to learning how to create a heel flap and turn the heel of a sock, students will learn how to perform the grafting technique called Kitchener Stitch in order to close the toe. While this pattern is a great beginner sock pattern, students should already be comfortable with the knit and purl stitches.
